The Legend of Billie Jean

Husband and wife comedians Mike Bobbitt and Allyson Bobbitt take turns making each other watch a movie the other has never seen.

This week Mike makes Allyson watch the 1985 Helen Slater movie The Legend of Billie Jean. This was a movie that Mike watched so much as a teenager that he practically had it memorized. Will Allyson enjoy Christian Slater's big screen debut as much as Mike did? Will this modern update of the Joan of Arc story hold up?

The Legend of Billie Jean also starts Yeardley Smith, Peter Coyote, Keith Gordon, Richard Bradford and Martha Gehman. It was directed by Matthew Robbins, who later went on to collaborate with the great Guillermo del Toro on multiple pictures.
