The Ref

Husband and wife comedians Mike Bobbitt and Allyson Bobbitt take turns making each other watch a movie the other has never seen.

Mike makes Allyson watch the 1994 dark Christmas tale The Ref. This Denis Leary vehicle was directed by the late Ted Demme, and also stars Judy Davis and unfortunately creepy Kevin Spacey. It was a movie that Mike loved when he was in his early 20s. Does it hold up still or does Spacey's behavior cast an overwhelming shadow over this film?
